Re: Help for Jeff Markwart
Well..16 years old is relative I suppose, but they don?t last like Altecs do! Chevy doesn?t make a lot of Corvettes (only 21,536 1996 models were built) and they seem to disappear from road use rather quickly. Lately when I?m on the road or when I attend a Corvette car show I seldom see an 84-96 or older model. Most seen are newer C5 and C6 models, and the next generation C7 is due out next year. GM no longer supplies most C4 specific replacement parts, and an increasing number of parts, like rear hatch windows, are all but impossible to find at salvage. I guess I?m just seeing the handwriting on the wall and feel it's becoming more of a classic each day.
